Cookies Policy

Last updated: 8 May 2026 · Version 1

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on xperiencetickets.com and seatlive.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site's owner. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels where appropriate; for simplicity, we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.

2. How we categorise cookies

We group cookies into three categories:

3. Cookies we currently use

Strictly necessary

Cookie Set by Purpose Expires
xt_consent XperienceTickets / SeatLive Records your cookie consent choices so we don't ask you again on every page. 12 months

Analytics (consent required)

Cookie Set by Purpose Expires
_ga Google Analytics 4 Generates a unique anonymous identifier to distinguish users. 24 months
_ga_<container_id> Google Analytics 4 Stores session state for the GA4 property. 24 months

Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies that identify you. It is a container that loads other tags (such as Google Analytics) only when their consent conditions are met. See Google's privacy policy for details of how Google handles data.

4. Managing your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time. The button below opens the same preferences dialog you saw when you first visited the site:

Manage Cookie Preferences

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, only accept some, or delete cookies that have already been set. Please be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works for you.

Tip: if you choose to reject analytics cookies, the cookie banner will stop appearing but Google Analytics will not load on any of our pages. You'll know it worked because no _ga cookies will appear in your browser.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no agreed standard for how DNT should be honoured, so we currently rely on the explicit choice you make through our cookie banner rather than the DNT setting. Whatever you choose in our banner is respected.

6. Changes to this policy

If we add, remove or change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and the version date above. For significant changes we may also re-prompt you for consent.

7. Questions

If you have any questions about how we use cookies, please contact us at mail@seatlive.com or see our Privacy Policy for our full data protection contact details.
